I am in Oz.
Where in North America I would like to travel this summer and why.
The route I imagine taking.
What I would like to write about and photograph.
I don't like to travel, I eat/sleep/breathe in the constant anticipation of travel. I LOVE travel. I don't like to write about travel, I can't help myself, the fingers go there and my mind blurts prose. I LOVE to write about travel.
When I travel, whether down the block, across oceans or into the heart of Black Rock, I surround myself with the stuff of stories. I veer towards adventure. The writing let's me process and learn and the writing asks me to listen harder, think deeper and challenge myself to go further.
Why I want to travel and what I think I will accomplish.
I want to go to Burning Man because come August 30th that is where I belong. I am still finding playa dust in my camping gear from last burn, and every tiny grain is begging me to return...
This year I pledge to ride even more mutant vehicles, dance till dawn every night, wander the playa, shoot video. I would like to dive deeper into the BRC and investigate the secrets of the burn more fully.

Wending down hwy 101 I will take time to camp the Oregon coast before I hit Frisco and join the caravan of burners sure to be on their merry way. With a dip in the Yuba, the final leg to Black Rock will begin...

I aspire to be the best blog writing, video spinning, travel ninja that I can be. This will be accomplished by walking the earth with an open mind and documenting my thoughts and travels through a myriad of media.
