JoAnna,

Thanks for your comments. I think it would be interesting to have a group discussion during Evolution Cinema night. A common theme that I see in the evolutionary consciousness movement is that people need to move beyond seeking to fill their inner void with things that thousands of hours of advertising have taught them to believe they need to be adequate and happy. In addition this movement believes that true salvation comes from rediscovering it within - with no need for stuff beyond the basics. If we were all to live by the motto "Live Simply so that Others may Simply Live", the world would be healthier. I've come to see the wisdom in this movement and I'd enjoy hearing others reactions as well.

Be well and keep evolving. Pat

Feedback on the first two flicks ~

I dig what Marianne Williams has to say, but I don't think I could listen to her longer than what is on this clip. Interesting concept, sort of boring to watch. I would rather have some sort of "round table" discussion on the topic than listen to this.

I am stoked about the Humanity Ascending trailer and be very interested in seeing the film. I have often thought that the "advances" we make in technology and medicine may, in fact, be working against us. It seems to me that this is the point in this film, so I would be interested in seeing this and chatting with others about what they think of it as well.

I didn't watch the Zeitgeist clip. Not sure if I'll get to it anytime soon, but will try to squeeze it in. Will let you know if I think of anything else.

Okay ... What The Bleep Do We Know? looks AMAZING! Please show this one! Speaking of the "other" side of life, did you hear that a woman that missed the AirFrance flight last week died in a car accident? How freaky is that? It sort of brought up all my undecided thoughts on destiny.

I've been trying to think of other movies for you to show and I feel like I've seen a few, but nothing is coming to mind. I will try desperately to bring a few titles to mind though!
